On the local club front in Monaghan it is a busy weekend of club championship action.
In the Junior grade this evening (Friday) Scotstown and Aghabog meet at 7:45 in Truagh, the winners will take on Rockcorry in the next round.
The Intermediate championship will see a double header of preliminary rounds in Castleblayney tomorrow evening (Saturday) as Blackhill and Carrickmacross meet at 5:15 followed by Inniskeen taking on Toome at 7pm.
On Sunday there is one fixture in the Senior championship as Donaghmoyne and Truagh meet in the preliminary round at 5:30 in Clontibret. Also on Sunday the Mc Keown Cup reserves championship final replay between Clontibret and Corduff will throw in at Blackhill at 1:30pm
The championship in Cavan will get underway this day week July 28th.
