A Fine Gael Councillor in Cavan is calling for the Aghalane Monument to be replaced.
The sculpture was robbed from the Senator George Mitchell Peace Bridge in Belturbet in August 2016.
It was later recovered, bearing the message ‘Peace for All’.
The statue was created to symbolize peace in post-Good Friday agreement Northern Ireland.
Councillor Peter McVitty is calling for funding to be put in place to replace the Aghalane Monument.
