Campaigning has begun in Northern Ireland’s second election in less than 12 months.
Sinn Féin pulled its support for the power sharing institutions last week over the RHI “Cash for Ash” scandal, triggering the vote.
The Northern Secretary James Brokenshire yesterday set March 2nd as the date for the election.
It’s unclear over what form of Government, if any, there will be after the vote, with Sinn Féin refusing to work with the DUP unless Arlene Foster resigns.
The Irish Times’ Northern Editor Gerry Moriarty told Northern Sound today that the DUP has the most to worry about in March’s election but the results could be unexpected.
