Castleblayney woman in Court today charged with causing the death of Armagh footballer

A Castleblayney woman will appear in Court today, charged with causing the death of Armagh footballer Ciaran McKenna.

The 17 year old was killed in a crash near Castleblayney in July 2012.

21 year old Colleen McCann was arrested in Dublin Airport earlier this year, after she returned to Ireland from the United States.

McCann, with an address of Drumacon, Castleblayney, was charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Ciaran McKenna.

She’ll appear in Monaghan Circuit Court later today.
