Cavan Councillor hits out at local Bus Éireann disruption

A Cavan Councillor has hit out at Bus Éireann over disruption to services in the area recently.

The problems arose after the introduction of a new timetable on the 109 route, which saw changes to some routes and timetables.

However, it’s believed that some drivers have engaged in unofficial action over the new rosters, with some not turning up for work or calling in sick – it’s not believed that any drivers based in Cavan are involved in the action.

Sinn Féin Councillor Paddy McDonald says the problems are not acceptable:
