Eddie Mc Cormack continued his fine form of late by adding the Leinster Mid Amateur championship to the Connacht mid amateur title with a 14 shot victory at Charlesland over the weekend.
The Cavan man who now resides in Galway and plays out of the Galway Bay golf club, set a course record 69 in his second round and followed that up with 2 rounds of 71 to give him a comfortable win over the 2016 winner Jim Carvill who carded rounds of 72,76 and 77
Speaking to the Sportsdesk recently, the former Cavan Gaels player remarked that a will to win and competitive streak when involved in either football or golf was a major plus to his success..
