Cavan students discuss cross-border initiatives with Prince Harry

Students from a Cavan school met with Prince Harry yesterday to discuss cross border initiatives.

Two students from St Bricin’s College in Belturbet were invited to the MAC in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter to share their Peace Pledge with the prince.

The Peace Pledge programme run by Co-Operation Ireland, aims to encourage and promote cross-border interaction and dialogue.

Ten schools from across Northern Ireland were represented along with the St Bricin’s group from just across the border in Belturbet.
