The European Commission’s Chief Brexit negotiator says he will pay particular attention to Ireland during the first phase of the negotiations.
Michel Barnier held his first press conference since Theresa May began the process of leaving the EU.
He also says he can’t give a “definitive” cost on how much it’ll demand from the UK when it leaves Europe
However, Mr. Barnier says any payment the UK might have to make would not be a punishment.
