Community of Bailieborough devastated following theft of equipment used by local community groups

The community of Bailieborough is said to be devastated following the theft of equipment used by local community groups in the town.

Tools and equipment with an estimated value of €15,000 were stolen from the parish house beside the St. Anne’s Chapel in Bailieborough.

The Parish and CE scheme’s equipment, including a new ride on lawn mower, strimmers, tools and a trailer were all taken.

It’s believed the theft took place between Thursday the 10th and Friday the 11th of August.
