A Community garden in Cavan will officially open today.
The Fairview Community Garden near Cavan Town’s Fairview Estate has undergone a transformation from disused land to a new community hub.
The project has been brought together by the community in coordination with local bodies including Cavan County Council and Breffni Integrated.
Local people can now go there to grow fruit and vegetables and make use of a newly purchased polytunnel.
The garden will officially open at 2pm today.
