The Attracta Doherty memorial Pink N’ Gold Triathlon will take place on this Sunday at the Halton Aminety park in Cootehill.
A number of events to suit all competitors will be held including a triathlon with a 750 meter swim, 20km cycle and 5km run, while the Try a Tri will have a 400 meter swim with the same distance of cycle and run.
There will also be a duathlon and 5k run.
Kevin Doherty is one of the main organisers, of the event and he explained how one competitor namely Kevin Donovan will be travelling from Cork to complete a unique challenge that he hand undertaken
