The Minister for Communications has until Tuesday to make a decision on the proposed sale of the Anglo Celt newspaper.
Independent News and Media announced in September that it intended to buy the Celtic Media Group – the owner of the Anglo Celt and six other local papers.
The move was approved by the Competition Commissioner in November and forwarded to Minister Denis Naughten for his decision on the sale.
He has until Tuesday to decide whether or not to let the sale of the titles to go ahead.
