Scotstown and Maghercloone both made it into the semi finals of the Greenfield Foods Monaghans Senior football championship this weekend. Scotstown defeated Latton by 1-18 to 1-17, Maghercloone beat Ballybay by 0-15 to 0-14 in a double header in Clontibret.

Meanwhile Clontibret are out of the championship after 2-11 to 1-13 defeat to Truagh. And Monaghan Harps were knocked out by Castleblayney on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-10. Truagh will now play Ballybay and Castleblayney will take on Latton in the quarter finals.
