There is a “wall of silence” surrounding equal rights for fathers here in Ireland.
That’s according to the Founder of ‘Fathers 4 Justice’, Matt O’Connor, who says he was denied access to his two boys following a difficult divorce.
Fathers 4 Justice is a fathers’ rights organisation founded in 2001 which aims to gain public and parliamentary support for changes in UK and Irish legislation on fathers’ rights.
Matt O’Connor is infamous for interrupting the Cavan Rose Lisa O’Reilly during her performance at last year’s Rose of Tralee festival.
Matt spoke on today’s Joe Finnegan show, he says the group now have a big presence here in Ireland.
