Feile, Provincial semi final, Qualifiers – Full diary of GAA action

The countdown is already on to a busy weekend of GAA action with both provincial semi finals and qualifiers to look forward to from a Northern Sound perspective.

Supporters looking to attend the Ulster semi final between Monaghan and Down on Saturday evening at the Athletic grounds in Armagh are reminded that tickets are now available via the GAA website or from participating Super Value and Centra stores.

Cavan will be in qualifier action on Sunday evening when they travel to O Conor Park Tullamore to take on Offaly at 6:30pm.

That particular fixture throwing in late on Sunday evening owing to the Feile NA Nog been hosted across the region by counties Cavan, Monaghan and Fermanagh.

Indeed Feile will see up on 6000 young players participate in the competition within the 3 counties with the action getting underway on Friday afternoon.

Speaking to the Northern Sound sports desk, Sean Mc Kenna who is part of the organising committee helping to host the Feile in Monaghan explained how all the competing teams would be given an opportunity to attend the Ulster senior semi final
