It is the final round of group games in the Dr McKenna cup this evening (Wednesday) with 4 semi final spots up for grabs based on 3 group winners and the best placed runner up.
In Group B, Monaghan currently sit on top with 2 wins from 2 following victories over Fermanagh and Antrim and they will be hoping to continue that winning form when they welcome St Marys University to Parc Gratten Inniskeen at 8pm.
Farney Manager Malachy O Rourke has been using the competition to give run outs to fringe players but this evening could also see a first start in 2017 for Conor Mc Manus who has been recovering from a reacurrence of a hip injury

The other fixture in that group will see Fermanagh taking on Antrim with the Ernesiders harbouring hopes of making the last 4 as the best runner up, while the Saffron county will be looking to pick up their first win of 2017.
It is a similar situation in Group C as Cavan also sit top of the table after wins over Tyrone the defending champions and Donegal.
They welcome Ulster University to Kingspan Breffni park knowing that reaching a semi final spot is within their control.
The Students have one victory under their belts after they accounted for Donegal but were beaten by Tyrone on Sunday past.
It has been a great start for newly installed Breffni manager Mattie McGleenan and he has made no secret of the fact that they want to go as far as possible in this competition..
What has really impressed the former Red hand forward is the competition among the panel for places with the return last weekend of Rory Dunne a case in point.

The other fixture in this group will see Tyrone looking to overcome Donegal to keep their hopes of making the semi finals alive as a possible best runner up..
Group A will perhaps be the most competitive round up of the evening with Down currently on 2 wins from 2 and they take on Armagh who overcame Queens University last weekend but suffered an opening day defeat to Derry.
The Oakleaf county will be up against Queens with Damien Bartons side also harbouring thoughts of making the semi finals via the best runner up spot.
