Local Gardaí are appealing for information after burglaries in the area yesterday (Sept 3).
One burglary took place in the Clontibret area yesterday afternoon – it’s believed to be linked with another in the Castleblayney area.
Two men were disturbed in a house in the Cremartin area, shortly after 2.30pm.
Gardaí say the men had been knocking on the back door of the house before forcing their way in.
They fled the house in a dark coloured car with a UK reg.
Gardaí are asking anyone with information to contact them, particularly if you had unannounced or suspicious callers at your house yesterday afternoon.
