Gardaí in Ballyconnell are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a woman recently.
It’s believed the incident took place between 9pm on Monday August 21st and 8pm on Tuesday August 22nd.
Gardaí discovered the woman in her home in Daisy Hill Manor, she suffered facial injuries as a result of being assaulted and was treated at Cavan General Hospital for her injuries.
