Gardaí in Cavan Town are gearing up for their open day this weekend.
Various units from An Garda Síochána will be on hand between 11am and 3pm on Saturday September 23rd, and it will give the Gardaí a chance to engage with the public.
Garda vehicles, equipment, the dog unit and the Armed Support Unity will be on hand and areas usually off limits to the general public will be accessible.
Garda Cathal Buggy of Cavan Garda station says the open day will give people of all ages the chance to meet local gardaí and get an extensive tour of the station.
