Works on the exciting Giants Trail at Rossmore Forest Park has got underway.
Construction began last week and when concluded, the Giant's Trail will consist of a total of 10 giants with their own name, personality and piece of local history and folklore. The first Giant, who will be named 'Roddy Den Drum', will be fully assembled within the next 4 to 5 weeks.
The idea of a Giants Trail for Rossmore Park has been planned out by the Monaghan Town Team. One of their members of the Town Team Paul Bond explained to Bottom Line reporter Pauric Clerkin why Monaghan's Giants Trail will be unique to others.
