Green Party leader criticises plans for upgrade of N2 and N3

The Green Party leader has criticised plans for the upgrading of the N2 and N3 because the works would lead to more traffic congestion in the capital.

TDs and Senators were this week discussing increasing levels of traffic on the M50 in Dublin and hearing more about plans to upgrade and widen some roads across the country. The head of Transport Infrastructure Ireland appeared before the committee, where he said an increasing number of vehicles was impacting on safety on the M50.
