‘The acceptance and understanding of Down Syndrome has come a long way in the past number of years.’
That’s according to local man Brian Renaghan from the Monaghan branch of Down Syndrome Ireland speaking on what is World Down Syndrome Day.
The theme this year is What I Bring To My Community and aims to show how people with Down Syndrome can make meaningful contributions throughout their lives.
