The Monaghan minors were beaten in the All-Ireland semi-final in dramatic fashion in Croke Park as their incredible second half comeback fell just short of stopping Kerry progressing to the final.
Kerry led by 0-10 to 0-6 at the interval, with Dylan Geaney hitting five points, and a David Mangan goal early in the second half put them in control as they led by nine at one stage.
Conor Flannery was sent off for Kerry, 15 minutes into the second half with a black card after an earlier yellow card.

Monaghan fought back with goals from Jason Irwin in the 53rd minute and Mark Mooney in the 56th minute levelling matters.

A Donnacha Swinburne point a minute into injury time put the Ulster champions into the lead however late points from Paul Walsh and Jack Kennelly clinched the win for Kerry.
