Heritage Bill comes in for criticism from World Beekeeping Federation

The head of the World Beekeeping Federation says those behind the controversial Heritage Bill don’t understand Irish heritage.

It passed through the Oireachtas recently but campaign groups have criticism over the impact it’ll have on the Irish countryside as it extends the hedge cutting window.

The President of the World Beekeeping Federation says the Bill will hit the Irish bee population because native plants and flowers will be impacted.
