Cavan has seen an increase of over 27,000 overseas visitors since 2010.
Figures released by the CSO show that the first seven months of this year have seen over five and a half million visitors to our shores
Overall trips to Ireland are up 3.1% compared to the same period in 2016.
The figures also show that the number of North America and European visitors continues to increase while there has been a slight drop in visitors from the UK.
