A new Irish study shows young girls are particularly susceptible to an eating disorder.

90 percent of people attending the Eating Disorders Centre in Cork are female – and a third are aged between 15 and 20.

The HSE is hoping to roll out dedicated child and adolescent eating disorder teams nationwide with special support hubs to be established several locations including Cavan.

Tanaiste Simon Coveney will today launch a report into the services of the Eating Disorders Centre in Cork.
