Global medical software company ‘Vitalograph’ has announced a major expansion for County Clare.
The global medical supply company is investing 12m Euro at it’s Ennis plant – with an extra 50 jobs created. General Manager at Vitalograph Ireland, Frank Keane, says they’ll be filling the positions over the next six months.
Meanwhile a seaweed company in County Clare is creating 10 new jobs following a 200 thousand euro investment. The family run Wild Irish Seaweed business currently has a workforce of 13, including seven full-time employees and six harvesters. 50 thousand euro is being invested by Alison Cowzer of Dragon’s Den. Clare Local Enterprise Office has matched a similar investment figure while owners the Talty family are putting in a further 100 thousand into their business.
