The keys to the brand new Dún an Rí College in Kingscourt will be handed over to staff this afternoon.

Over 160 pupils will move into their new school this Friday October 20th with the campus gearing up for a school population of 500 students. The contractors of the build will hand over the keys to school principal Principal Fergal Boyle, Deputy Principal Thomas McCormick and the Chairman of Cavan Monaghan ETB Councillor Clifford Kelly at a ceremony at 4pm.

Councillor Kelly, who has campaigned for over 40 years for a secondary school to be built in his hometown paid tribute to former Fine Gael Councillor Andrew O’Brien who passed away in 2006.
