A local Fianna Fail Councillor says he is “outraged” at the absence of local Fine Gael Ministers from the debate on the North South Interconnector.
That’s the view of Councillor Seamus Coyle following a debate by his party in the Dail last night in relation to undergrounding the project.
Eirgrid is planning on constructing hundreds of pylons across Cavan, Monaghan, Meath and Tyrone to connect the two electricity grids on the island.
Councillor Coyle says this Government do not care about rural Ireland and the areas affected by the North South Interconnector.
