Local Deputy says that there’s no place for ageism in the workplace

‘Discriminating against age is just as bad as discriminating against race or religion.’

That’s the call of Sinn Fein Deputy Caoimhghin Ó Caoláin who says that the imposition of a mandatory retirement age is wrong.

On Thursday night in the Dáil, the Government accepted in principle, a Sinn Féin Bill abolishing the mandatory retirement age.
