Local lodges to descend on Brookeborough for 12th of July festivities

Large crowds will descend on the border town of Brookeborough this afternoon for the Fermanagh 12th of July demonstration.

The border county will also host Orange lodges from Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal. Lodges and bands from the border region will march from the Lisnaskea Road at approximately 11.30am and proceed on foot through the village to the demonstration field on the A4 on the Belfast Road.

A religious service will be held at 1.30pm, with the return parade getting underway at 2.45pm. The Orange Order claims the spectacle will provide “an enhanced cultural experience”.
