That’s according to Irish Heart Foundation nurse Pauline speaking at one of their free blood pressure checks in Cavan yesterday.

64% of people over 50 years old have high blood pressure which is a leading cause of stroke, heart disease and heart attacks.

Speaking at the free check, nurse Pauline explained how the service has experienced massive interest recently.
