The President of Macra na Feirme says the organisation continues to go from strength to strength.
The young farmer’s organisation will elect a new president in April in County Leitrim and currently have a membership of over 9,000 people.
Macra will be putting a strategic plan in place in 2017, setting out the future direction of the young farmers’ organisation.
That’s according to their National President Sean Finan who says their programme will allow Macra to plan for the development of the organisation over the next few years.
He says the organisation made huge advances in 2016.
