A family syndicate from Bailieborough, Co.Cavan, collected over 4.5million from the National Lottery yesterday.
The family who wish to remain anonymous, bought the winning Quick Pick ticket at Supervalu on Main Street Bailieborough, on Christmas Eve – the day of the draw.
The massive lotto win attracted huge interest in Bailieborough throughout the Christmas period and the winning father paid tribute to all their friends and neighbours who have helped them come to terms with their big win.
