The Minister for Disabilities has been visiting the Holy Family School in Cootehill today.
Minister Finian McGrath arranged to visit the school to see first-hand the current state of the buildings, which have faced widespread criticism.
Children, teachers, parents and politicians came out in force to show the minister what they’ve been working with at the Cootehill school.
While the school is set to see a brand new building constructed in 2018, the project has been dogged with delays since 2015.
The facility has faced widespread criticism due to overcrowding and outdated structures.
