Monaghan entrepreneur plans to open new Insomnia outlets in the North

The founder of an Irish coffee chain is planning on opening 15 new stores in Northern Ireland.

Monaghan native Harry O’Kelly currently has 151 Insomnia outlets across the country.

They include two stores in Cavan and Monaghan which opened their doors in the past two years.

Mr O’Kelly opened his first coffee shop in 1997 and has only two outlets in Belfast and he plans on opening 10 stores outside of the city.

Newry, Omagh and Enniskillen are among the areas he is considering.
