Just four projects have been approved for funding under the Enterprise Stablisation Fund in the Northern Sound region.
Information obtained by Northern Sound news shows €58 million has been granted to 148 programmes across the country -with four in Cavan benefiting from the scheme and none in County Monaghan.
The Enterprise Stabilisation Fund aims to help companies sustain and develop their business during the current economic climate.
Eligible companies include those in the manufacturing and internationally traded services sectors.
If they are judged by Enterprise Ireland to have a sound, robust and sustainable business plan and companies who can increase their turnover as the world economy improves.
But not every county is benefiting from the scheme.

42 applications in the Capital have been approved for assistance under the Enterprise Stabilisation Fund.
In second position is County Cork with 18 passed submissions followed by 8 in Galway and 7 in the Tánaiste home county of Donegal.
However, just four applications have been given the go ahead in County Cavan with none in county monaghan approved for assistance under the Stablisation fund.
In response to a question submitted by Sinn Fein TD Arthur Morgan recently, the Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment says the provision of grant assistance to individual companies is a matter for the development agency.
Minister Coughlan says it would not be appropriate to disclose the exact locations of the grant-aided companies for reasons of commercial sensitivity.
