Concern is being raised over a "headshop" which has opened in Ballyconnell in the past week.
It's the third such outlet which sells synthetic drug products or so-called "legal highs" to be established in the Northern Sound region.
Local Sinn Féin Councillor Damien Brady says he received numerous calls over the weekend from concerned parents about the safety of products on sale at the shop.
Councillor Brady says if headshops can not be out rightly banned, then there should be much tighter regulation of them.
