Meeting with the HSE requeted to discuss public nursing homes in Cavan « Go Back
Mar 09 2010

Cavan County Council is requesting a meeting with the HSE in relation to public nursing homes in the county.

Concerns were previously raised by councillors with regard to the number of beds at such facilities being reduced.

According to the public representatives, the possibility of reducing bed spaces may come on foot of recommendations by the Health Information and Quality Authority.

It’s hoped a meeting with Executive officials will help clarify the situation.
