Employment opportunities are expected to result from a €2 million investment planned for Cavan Town.

 

The County Council is hoping to begin construction on an inner relief road before the end of the year.

 

Land acquisition process for the project is currently underway.

 

Fianna Fail County Councillor Gerry Murray says the route will greatly improve the local roads network and bring a welcome jobs boost.
