« BackExtra buses running from Cavan for Easter Rising celebrations

BUS BIGBus Éireann are running extra buses tomorrow for people attending the Easter Rising celebrations in Dublin.

Extra services will run on Easter Sunday from Cavan on the 109 route serving Cavan town, Virginia and Kells and on the 111 route serving Cavan town and Granard.

Up to 600,000 people are expected to attend the events in Dublin city on Easter Sunday and Monday.

Gardaí are asking people to use public transport where possible as many streets in the city centre will be closed to facilitate the commemorations.
