« BackFarm machinery stolen in Monaghan

TRACTORMonaghan Gardaí say they’ve received numerous reports of  stolen farm machinery in the region this week.

Gardaí say it’s unusual for farm machinery to be moving at night time – so all such instances should be reported straight away & Gardai will check it out.
Between Sunday and Monday last a ‘GARDA 75’ slurry pump with a BATTONI vacuum and sludgigator attached was stolen from the Lisnaskea area.

On Monday an ‘Ifor Williams’ twin-axle builder trailer was stolen from Scotch Corner Clontibret.

In Emyvale on Wednesday a farmer discovered 2 parts of farm machinery missing from his yard – a red rock slurry agitator and a 7 foot 6 red and yellow ‘Pottinger’ hay mower with about 7 cutting discs.

Today a ‘John Deere’ Tractor was stolen from the Mullan Road area of Glaslough.

Gardaí are calling on farmers to be vigilant and are asking the public to contact them if they notice anything suspicious.
