A man in his 30s has died following a car collision in County Monaghan.
The 3 car collision occurred on the N2 road from Monaghan town to Emyvale at Tirnaeil Cross at 12.20pm today.
Two female occupants of the 2nd car were seriously injured and brought to Cavan General Hospital.
The male occupant of the 3rd car was unharmed.
The road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
