Parents are being urged to do more to educate their children in relation to racism.
That’s the view of Fine Gael Senator Frank Feighan after Gardaí in Cavan opened an investigation into an alleged incident which took place at Minor GAA match on Saturday.
The match between Cavan Gaels and Crosserlough in Breffni Park last Saturday, came to a premature end because reports of a racist remark.
On Monday a juvenile presented to Cavan Garda Station to report an incident of alleged assault, and Gardaí are investigating.
