The Arts Hour showcases the cream of local talent from across the Shannonside Northern Sound Region. From musical societies, to poets, photographers, drama groups and everything in between, there are seats in the house for everyone on ‘The Arts Hour’. You can let us know what we have to look forward to in your local area and tune in between 11am and 12 noon each Sunday for the very best in local arts and entertainment.
The Northern Sound Arts and Entertainment Award for January 2010 was awarded to the Monaghan Community Gospel Choir. Each month between now and December, a group or individual will be chosen from across the region to be a recipient of this monthly award. An overall winner for the year will then be chosen to recieve €1000 in prize funding. If you would like to nominate a group, organisation or individual to recieve a monthly award, tell us about them and email rcooper@shannonside.ie with the details.
