Protest to take place tomorrow on Monaghan and Tyrone border

People living in border counties do not want to see a return to the days of border checks.

That’s according to Paul Gibbons from the Border Communities against Brexit Group.

Representatives of businesses, trade unions, charities, disability advocacy organisations, community groups and others have come together to form Border Communities Against Brexit.

They are holding a protest this Saturday the 18th of February at Moy Bridge, on the border between Monaghan and Tyrone which gets underway at 10am.

Paul Gibbons is the Monaghan representative for the Border Communities Against Brexit Group, he says the Irish Government are sleep walking when it comes to the Brexit issue.
