This Sunday will see the Cavan Motor club host their annual Hotel Kilmore Stages rally with the event a counting round of the Triton Showers National Rally championship and the Sligo Pallets Border championship and that has give rise to a high quality entry with a top ten of World Rally cars set to leave the start ramp on Sunday morning.

The competition will be just as hot and heavy in the modified field with the Class 14 crews expected to make the most of what will be dry sunny conditions.

Chris Armstrong with Chris Melly on the notes are seeded at number 15 in their Mark 2 escort and the Virginia driver remarked to our reporter Sean Mc Caffrey he was looking forward to making a return to the event especially as some of the stages are due to be run close to his home town
