A Real Time Information Display will be installed in Monaghan Bus Station “in the coming months”.
The National Transport Authority says it’s engaging with Bus Éireann to allow for the installation of the screen.
There have been calls over the past number of years for the upgrade of facilities in Monaghan Bus Station, with calls for the screen to be installed to allow passengers see when their bus is to arrive.
However, the news was met with scepticism at a recent meeting of Monaghan Municipal District, with the news being welcomed but it being noted that this wasn’t the first time the RTPI screen had been announced.
