Traffic calming measures to be introduced at junction in front of Inver College

‘Traffic calming measures at the junction near Inver College will provide a safer environment for children attending the school.’

That’s according to Sinn Féin Councillor in County Monagahn Colm Carthy following the recent agreement by local representatives to upgrade the junction.

Works are expected to cost in the region of €80,000 and will begin this Monday, 31st July.  The existing two entrance layout on the Ballybay Road junction will be replaced with a T-junction format.  Sinn Féin Councillor Colm Carthy explains the reason behind the upgrade.
