Travel advice ahead of All-Ireland Semi-finals as super fan gives words of encouragement

Gardaí are urging Monaghan GAA fans to give themselves adequate travelling time if they’re heading to Croke Park this Sunday.

Both the Senior and Minor teams are in action in their respective All Ireland Semi-Finals clashes in the capital with it being the first time the Farney seniors have made this stage in 30 years.

Heavy traffic is expected on the N2 on Sunday morning with the minors getting the action underway at 1.30pm as they face off against Kerry.

That’s followed by the senior All-Ireland Semi-Finals between Monaghan and Tyrone at 3.30pm at GAA HQ.

Inspector Kevin Gavigan has this advice for motorists travelling to Croke Park this Sunday.

Meanwhile, Farney Super fan Mary Cunningham had this message of support ahead of the games on Sunday when she spoke to Northern Sound earlier.
